Release of PROPEL™ - .NET Workflow and Collaboration Technology Surrey, BC - January 15 2003 X Interactive announces the release of Propel(tm), a collaborative workflow application built using the Microsoft .NET framework with full integration with Groove Network's Peer to Peer technology. The system is designed to provide companies with a method for enforcing workflow and business rules across the organization crossing internal and external boundaries. The results are a more efficient workplace producing a more predictible product. X Interactive believes the methodologies applied in the development of Propel can be extended to virtually any business workflow that relies on heavy collaboration between companies and their customers. This maiden release has been fully implemented at the companies beta client in Ontario, medical management firm Merit Assessment Centres having 7 locations across Ontario serving the insurance claims market. Given the success of the first implementation, X Interactive expects to offer the same business-process assessment services and a similar Propel implementation to its other clients. Propel is the result of over 14 months of research and development. The technology is accessible using web browsers in concert with client side technology from Groove Networks. Microsoft .NET custom Web Services bind the two environments, providing an integration between company and customer that will define the next decade in business efficiency and relationship. "How well we define the business processes will determine how successful an installation of Propel will be. The real advantage of Propel is that it can wrap itself around business processes with very little engineering. Our goal was to produce a system that could easily be adapted into an organization that has little or no defined business process." says company president Darren Layton.
